TMCP staged protest demanding arrest of Union Ministers Nisith Pramanik and John Barla in Alipurduar 

Alipurduar, 19th November: District Trinamool Chhatra Parishad of Alipurduar staged a protest demanding the arrest of Union Minister of State for Home Nishith Pramanik and Union Minister of State for Minorities John Barla. The protesters wore masks and tied a rope around their waists during the demonstration. 


A protest was also staged in front of the District Sansodhanagar. District TMCP President Sameer Ghosh said that the people of Alipurduar are very happy after the Alipurduar court and Tufanganj court issued arrest warrants against the two Union Ministers. Ghosh distributed ‘laddus’ to the people on the roadside as an act of celebration. The demonstrators further demanded the immediate arrest and punishment of the two Union Ministers.
