TMC writes to SEC against Bengal Governor CV Ananda Bose

The ruling party of the State, Trinamool Congress (TMC) approached the State Election Commission (SEC), against Governor CV Ananda Bose, ahead of the July 8 Panchayat polls in the state. According to sources, the TMC wrote to the SEC alleging the Governor to be interfering in the election process. The party further alleged that the Governor has formed allies with the opposition and is misusing his constitutional role as the governor.
