Siliguri, 28th April: Trinamool Congress workers took to the streets in Siliguri to protest against the strike imposed by the BJP. Led by the District Trinamool Youth President Nirnay Roy, the workers came out today and approached the shop owners, requesting them to open their shops.
In this regard, Nirnay Roy alleged that the BJP has forcefully imposed the strike by bringing outsiders, resulting in the vandalization of buses and shops. He added that the police will take necessary action to prevent such incidents.
