Naxalbari, 01st September: Amid the nationwide unrest over the R.G. Kar rape and murder case, the Trinamool Mahila Congress has organized a sit-in protest in Naxalbari, as part of a statewide demonstration demanding justice for the victim.
On Sunday, the protest began around noon near the Panighata More in Naxalbari and was scheduled to continue until evening. During the demonstration, participants, including Trinamool Mahila Congress Sazani Subba, called for the immediate arrest of the perpetrators involved in this heinous crime.
