Rajganj, 03rd August: The Trinamool Congress, on Tuesday, protested in Rajganj opposing the attack on All India General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee’s convoy in Tripura. The demonstration was staged by the SC/ST/ OBC cell of Binnaguri TMC at Ambari of Binnaguri Gram Panchayat in Rajganj block.
It is to recall, Banerjee’s convoy was attacked yesterday when they were on their way to offer prayers at the Tripura Sundari Temple in Tripura.
On behalf of the organization, Swagat Roy condemned the attack and said, “We staged a demonstration at Ambari Anchal more protesting against the incident.” The party also staged demonstrations in different areas of Rajganj block.
