TMC ready to endure Central forces ahead of Panchayat Polls

Trinamool Congress leader Madan Mitra, in a statement, claimed that the party is ready to face the Central forces and will withstand their “torture”. The statement came following a division bench of the Calcutta High Court order directing the West Bengal State Election Commission to request for Central Paramilitary forces amidst the ongoing violence in several districts of the state ahead of the Panchayat election.
