TMC protests in Ambari demanding swift justice for R.G. Kar case

Rajganj, 31st August: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) held a sit-in protest in Ambari today, calling for the swift punishment of those responsible for the R.G. Kar case. The demonstration took place in the Ambari Bazar area of Rajganj.


Leaders present included Rajganj Block TMC President Arindam Banerjee, Rajganj Block TMYC President Tushar Kanti Dutta, Rajganj Block Women’s Leader Sardhani Dhara, and Rupali Dey Sarkar, among other activists.

Arindam Banerjee remarked that despite the CBI’s involvement, there has been no noticeable progress in the investigation. He accused the agency of intentionally stalling the process to facilitate political manipulation. Banerjee stressed that the TMC is staging protests across the state, block by block, to demand the swift arrest and severe punishment of those responsible for the R.G. Kar incident.
