Rajganj, 09th July: The workers and supporters of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) party of the Sannyasikata Zone, on Sunday, protested at the Rajgnaj Police Station demanding the arrest of miscreants involved in creating a situation of panic and violence at Sannyasikata of Rajganj on the polling day.
According to reports, on Saturday, a ballot box was looted as violence surfaced at Girangach and Jummagach booths of Sannyasikata. Following the violence, the TMC party alleged that goons of the opposition party for the attack which resulted in the injury of several individuals.
In this regard, TMC workers, while accusing the miscreants of creating situations of panic, protested in the presence of the injured party workers demanding their arrest at the Rajganj Police Station.
