Siliguri, 06th February: 68-year-old Kailash Roy, a resident of Ambikanagar under Fulbari No. 01 Zone, lost his ability to walk following an illness.
He earlier was an activist of the Trinamool Congress. Owing to his contribution to the party, the TMC Fulbari No. 1 zone gifted him a wheelchair, on Saturday. Apart from him, another resident of the area, Sunil Sarkar, was also provided with a wheelchair by the party.
TMC leaders including Dabgram-Fulbari Trinamool Yuva Congress general secretary Gautam Goswami and Fulbari-1 Anchal TMC President Tapan Sinha were present during the occasion.
