Rajganj, 02nd July: Trinamool Congress (TMC) leader Rajib Banerjee, on Sunday morning, campaigned in support of the party candidates at Rajganj block. The campaign commenced by offering prayers at Takimari Hari Mandir of Mantadari Gram Panchayat, under the Rajganj block.
According to reports, today, Rajib Banerjee held meetings at Takimari Bazar, Milan Pally, and Paramunda More of Mantadari. In addition, he also campaigned in support of the party’s candidates in Nepali Basti, Adarshpalli, Sahudangi, and Ambari areas of Binnaguri Gram Panchayat.
During the campaign, the TMC leader was accompanied by Jalpaiguri District Trinamool Congress Chairman and Rajganj MLA Khageshwar Roy, TMC’s Rajganj Block President, Arindam Banerjee, along with candidates of various booths for the upcoming Panchayat election.
Speaking during the campaign, Rajib Banerjee stated that, despite the rain, people are taking part in the party’s election meetings and listening to the speech. He added that this support proves, the stronghold of the Trinamool Congress exists and will remain even in the future. Furthermore, the TMC leader stated that the party’s candidates would win with a high number of votes in the forthcoming Panchayat elections.
