Fulbari, 06th March: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has taken a proactive step in gearing up for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections with a wall-writing campaign in various constituencies of Fulbari. On Wednesday, Siliguri Mayor Gautam Deb officially inaugurated the campaign in the Jalpaiguri Lok Sabha Constituency of the Fulbari-I Gram Panchayat adjacent to Uttar Kanya.
According to reports, the event witnessed the presence of Dabgram-Fulbari TMC Block President Debashish Pramanik, Vice-President Gautam Goswami, and INTTUC’s Dabgram-Fulbari Block President Sukanta Kar. Notably, the walls were painted promoting the party with space reserved for the candidate’s name, adding to the anticipation of the announcement.
Meanwhile, Abhishek Banerjee, a prominent figure within the party, is scheduled to address a public gathering in Maynaguri on March 14. In addition to the pre-election campaigning, the wall-writing program was conducted in preparation for the meeting.
In this regard, Mayor Gautam Deb highlighted the initiation of the program as an integral part of their campaign strategy. He reiterated the party’s determination to secure victories in Jalpaiguri and Siliguri, expressing optimism in achieving favorable outcomes. The mayor further alluded to the anticipation surrounding the forthcoming candidate announcement, hinting at unexpected results in the election.
