Rajganj, 28th July: Today, the Trinamool Congress organized a protest rally in Ambari condemning the recent incident in Manipur. The rally commenced from Anchal More and proceeded to Ambari Bazar, covering the area under Binnaguri Gram Panchayat in Rajganj block. The rally witnessed the active participation of hundreds of Trinamool Congress workers and supporters.
Following the rally, a ‘path sabha’ (public meeting) was held at Ambari market, where leaders and activists voiced their concerns about the escalating situation in Manipur. Tushar Dutta, the Rajganj Block Trinamool Congress Youth President, addressed the gathering, stating that the incident in Manipur had sparked a riot-like situation, with women being subjected to humiliation. In response to this distressing event, protests are being conducted across the country and also by the Trinamool Congress to voice their opposition.
