TMC celebrates Swami Vivekananda’s 163rd birth anniversary in Rajganj block

Rajganj, 12th January: The Rajganj Block unit of the Trinamool Congress (TMC) enthusiastically celebrated Swami Vivekananda’s 163rd birth anniversary. The event was held at Bhutkirhat in Majhiali Gram Panchayat, Rajganj. TMC leaders and workers paid tribute to the great philosopher by offering garlands and flowers at his portrait.


The event was attended by several prominent figures, including Arindam Banerjee, President of Rajganj Block TMC, former President of Rajganj Panchayat Samiti, Ahidar Rahman, Jalpai District Council Member Ranbir Majumdar, Majhiyali Gram Panchayat Pradhan Sumit Dutta, Binnaguri Gram Panchayat Pradhan Samijuddin Ahmed, among others.

Speaking on the occasion, Arindam Banerjee, President of Rajganj Block TMC, emphasized that the celebration was held with the leadership of the block and regional representatives. He added that the aim was to spread the ideals of Swami Vivekananda across India and West Bengal. Additionally, Banerjee mentioned that TMC had organized a cricket match for the youth, encouraging them to be more active and engage in outdoor activities, following Swamiji’s teachings of strength and discipline.
