Rajganj, 19th March: TMC candidate from Rajganj Assembly constituency, Swapna Barman, began her election campaign on Thursday after offering prayers at the Bhramari Devi Temple. She visited the temple along with party workers and supporters to seek blessings before starting her campaign.
Swapna Barman said she prayed for her father’s recovery and sought blessings before commencing her campaign. She stated that youth development will be the primary focus of her campaign, with special emphasis on providing employment opportunities to unemployed youth.
Speaking about four-time MLA Khageswar Roy, she described him as a guardian figure and said she would meet him and campaign together during the elections.
