TMC candidate Sankar Malakar begins campaign from tea garden in Naxalbari

Naxalbari, 20th March: Trinamool Congress candidate Sankar Malakar hit the campaign trail from early morning on Friday, beginning his outreach from a tea garden area.

According to reports, Malakar campaigned at Manjha Tea Garden in Naxalbari, where he interacted with tea garden workers and sought votes. He was accompanied by the District Chairman, the Siliguri Mahakuma Parishad’s Sabhadhipati, and the INTTUC President during the campaign.

Speaking to the media, Malakar said that the development carried out by the Mamata Banerjee government has reached every booth. He highlighted that over the past 15 years, the Chief Minister has undertaken multiple development initiatives in tea garden areas, and added that his campaign is focused on these achievements.

He also alleged that the BJP is engaging in divisive politics and misleading the public, asserting that people are standing with the Trinamool Congress in the upcoming polls.
