Kharibari, 26th March: Trinamool Congress candidate from Phansidewa Rina Toppo Ekka began her day by offering prayers at a Shiva temple in Panitanki along the Indo-Nepal border before heading out for election campaigning.
After offering prayers, she visited a youth injured in an accident, enquired about his condition and assured him of assistance. She later visited Satish Chandra Tea Garden, where she interacted with tea workers and listened to their concerns.
Having once worked as a tea labourer herself, Rina Toppo Ekka was also seen plucking tea leaves during her visit. Seeking votes from the workers, she expressed confidence about her victory, stating that people will vote based on the development carried out under the Chief Minister.
She added that the positive response during campaigning indicates strong support in her favour ahead of the elections.
