Jalpaiguri, 19th April: TMC candidate Nirmal Chandra Roy for the Jalpaiguri Lok Sabha constituency cast his vote at earlier in the morning on Friday.
According to reports, Roy stepped out of his home in Dhupguri and proceeded to the polling center. After voting, he paid respects to his mother at their home and then went to cast his ballot at booth number 15/59 at the Bamantari Additional Primary School.
While addressing the media, Roy stated that he would visit the various voting centers in the district. He further acknowledged that the voting procedure was being carried out uninterrupted and peacefully.
