Kharibari, 27th March: A unique picture of goodwill and togetherness was seen in Kharibari during the Ram Navami shobha yatra. Trinamool Congress candidate Rina Toppo Ekka took part in the procession and sought blessings by touching the feet of BJP candidate Durga Murmu.
The shobha yatra was organized by the Kharibari Ram Navami Utsav Committee and saw a large number of participants. Phansidewa assembly constituency candidates Rina Toppo Ekka of Trinamool Congress and Durga Murmu of BJP also joined the procession.
During the event, Rina Toppo Ekka touched Durga Murmu’s feet for blessings. Later, both candidates were seen dancing to the beats of the dhak while walking together in the shobha yatra.
Both candidates clarified that their participation had no political connection, and it was purely a religious and social celebration. Organizers added that anyone could participate in the Ram Navami shobha yatra.
