Kurseong, 26th October: On the third day of her North Bengal tour, Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will hold an administrative meeting with Darjeeling and Kalimpong district officials in Kurseong from 2 pm today.
Ahead of her arrival, top leaders and supporters of Hill Trinamool Congress and Anit Thapa led Bhartiya Gorkha Prajatantrik Morcha have gathered in Kurseong Bazaar since this afternoon to welcome the Chief Minister. Rajya Sabha MP and All India Trinamool Congress leader Shanta Chhetri was also spotted at the spot.
According to the information, after the administrative meeting today, the CM will be visiting a few landslide affected areas and will be taking stock of the situation. Furthermore, a team of hill leaders are likely to meet the CM today. Banerjee will reportedly spend the night in Kurseong today.
