Alipurduar, 06th September: Allegations of an attack on five Trinamool workers with sharp weapons emerged from DRM Chowpathy in Alipurduar. Among the victims, two Trinamool workers sustained severe injuries in the incident.
According to reports, the Trinamool workers were passing along the road when they were suddenly assaulted by an unidentified miscreant with a sharp weapon. The attack left two of the Trinamool workers seriously injured. Following the incident, the injured workers were promptly transported to the Alipurduar District Hospital for medical treatment. Meanwhile, upon receiving news of the incident, the Alipurduar police swiftly arrived at the scene to investigate the matter.
In response to this alarming event, members of the Alipurduar Junction Vivekananda Zone- II Trinamool Congress staged a protest against the attack on their fellow party workers.
