Rajganj, 01st August: The escalating thefts have left truck drivers and owners in a state of confusion, unsure about where to park their vehicles, be it on the road or at their homes. In the Jotiakali area of Fulbari, there have been multiple instances where truck drivers returned to find their vehicles tampered with and parts stolen. A gang of tire and battery thieves is currently active in the region, leaving truck drivers frustrated.
According to reports, these notorious miscreants swiftly steal truck tires with unparalleled expertise, leaving the parked vehicles devoid of one or more tires. On Tuesday, another incident occurred in the Jotiakali area under Fulbari II Gram Panchayat (GP). A truck was parked overnight outside the owner’s residence, only to discover in the morning that two of its tires had been stolen. Subsequently, the matter was reported to the police for investigation.
