Three tiger cubs greet visitors at Bengal Safari Park

Siliguri, 21st January: Today marks the fifth foundation day of Siliguri’s Bengal Safari Park. Starting today, the three Royal Bengal Cubs of Bengal Safari Park have been brought to the fore for visitors and tourists. A fishing cat and a leopard cat have also been released for the tourists today.

As of now, the 5-months old cubs will be released in the park for a limited period of time. After a few days, they will be kept in the open forest for tourists all day long. Besides, the forest workers will keep proper surveillance on them.

It is to be noted that the Royal Bengal Tiger Shila gave birth to three cubs last August. Since then, the three cubs were kept with their mother and strictly away from any human interference.

While the three cubs have not been named yet, the park’s authority hopes the Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee will name them soon.
