Siliguri, 29th January: Siliguri police have successfully foiled a robbery attempt and arrested three miscreants in connection with the plot. The arrested individuals have been identified as Mohammad Shibu, Mohammad Mustaque, and Vijay Barman, all residents of different areas within Siliguri.
According to reports, a group of miscreants had planned to rob in the city on Tuesday night. Acting on a tip-off, the Siliguri police conducted a raid in the Sabji Bazar area of Sarvahara Colony and apprehended the three suspects. Several others managed to flee the scene.
Various items typically used for robbery were recovered from the arrested individuals. The three suspects were presented before the Siliguri court on Wednesday.
