Three miscreants arrested before executing crime in Siliguri

Siliguri, 29th September: In a significant breakthrough, cops of Pradhan Nagar police station arrested three miscreants who had gathered to execute a crime on the bank of Mahananda River in Ward No 2 of the Siliguri Municipal Corporation (SMC).


The arrested miscreants have been identified as MD Imtiaz alias Munna, Vijay Sahni, and Dilip Vishwakarma. Imtiaz is a resident of Motihari in Bihar, while, Vijay and Dilip are residents of Siliguri.

As per police sources, on Thursday night, three miscreants had gathered on the banks of the Mahananda River to execute a crime. During the patrolling, the police spotted the three miscreants. Upon noticing the police presence, the miscreants attempted to escape. However, the police initiated a chase and apprehended all the miscreants. Following this, sharp weapons were recovered by the police. On Friday, all three accused were produced before the Siliguri court.
