Siliguri, 04th December: Pradhan Nagar police successfully foiled a major robbery attempt and arrested three miscreants before they could commit the crime.
According to reports, a gang of miscreants had gathered in the Gate Bazar area of BRI Colony under Ward No. 1 on Tuesday night, planning to carry out the robbery. Upon receiving a tip-off, Pradhan Nagar police launched an operation and intervened before the crime could take place.
While some members of the gang managed to escape, police apprehended three individuals and recovered sharp weapons from their possession.
The arrested miscreants are reportedly residents of Siliguri. On Wednesday, they were produced in the Siliguri Court, and the police have initiated a search for the remaining members of the gang.
