Siliguri, 24th January: The Pradhan Nagar police foiled a potential crime by arresting three miscreants late Thursday night. The arrested individuals have been identified as Rohit Das, Haradhan Karmakar, and Puneet Roy.
As per police sources, undercover officers from Pradhan Nagar police station were patrolling on Thursday night when they noticed a group of 10 to 12 individuals behaving suspiciously in a deserted area near the Circuit House. Upon spotting the police van, the group attempted to flee. However, three of them were apprehended on the spot.
The three accused were presented in the Siliguri court on Friday. Meanwhile, the police have launched an investigation to uncover further details about the incident.
