Islampur, 24th January: Three people, including a woman, were injured over a land dispute at Sripur in Goalpokhar. The injured Gokul Biswas stated that a part of the land, owned by his grandfather, was donated for the temple. Sanjay Sarkar and Apoorva Singh, residents of the said area, were trying to occupy the remaining land. A dispute, among the said residents and Gokul Biswas, was going on for a long time.
It has been alleged that Sanjay Sarkar and Apoorva Singh attacked Gokul Biswas with a sharp weapon, on Thursday night. Three people including Gokul Biswas were injured in the incident.
