Naxalbari, 13th July: Three individuals were injured in a head-on collision between two motorcycles at the Bengaijote area of Amatola in Naxalbari along the state highway. The incident occurred at Bengaijote in Amatola. The injured have been identified as Shravan Sharma (18) and Ariyan Bhatt Rai (17) from Simultala in Kharibari, and Ranjit Mandal (33) from the Merry View Tea Estate area of Naxalbari.
According to reports, the collision happened when both the two-wheelers abruptly lost control. Local residents immediately rescued the injured and rushed them to Naxalbari Rural Hospital initially, followed by North Bengal Medical College and Hospital (NBMCH) for further treatment.
Meanwhile, the local police of Naxalbari have retrieved the damaged motorcycles involved in the accident and are investigating the entire incident thoroughly.
