Naxalbari, 06th June: Three youths sustained injuries when their bike collided with a four-wheeler on the Highway. The injured, identified as Chandan Das, Kalu Roy, and Kundan Roy, are residents of Bhujiapani in Bagdogra.
Reportedly, the accident occurred on Asian Highway 2 at Satbhaiya while the bike was traveling from Panitanki to Bagdogra. Reportedly, the bike lost control and hit a four-wheeler, causing the three riders to fall onto the road. They were rescued and taken to a hospital for treatment.
Following the incident, the driver of the four-wheeler fled the scene, abandoning the vehicle. Naxalbari police have recovered both the four-wheeler and the bike and are currently investigating the matter.
