Kharibari, 18th March: Three motorcycles coming from different directions rammed into each other injuring three youths. The incident took place on the National Highway near Panitanki Dhakaru More under Kharibari police station, on Wednesday night.
The injured have been identified as Amar Mahato, Ajay Kumar Singh, and Kiran Karmakar. Out of the three, two are residents of Kilaghata and one is a resident of Binnabari. Amongst the three, Kiran Karmakar is reportedly in a critical state.
According to the information, on Wednesday night, three bikes collided near Dhakaru More when two bikes were going towards Kharibari while the other was approaching from Batasi. Following this, the injured were rescued and taken to the nearest hospital, where on seeing the worsening of Kiran Karmakar’s condition, the doctors referred him to North Bengal Medical College and Hospital. Meanwhile, the police are investigating the entire incident.
