Siliguri, 27th April: The members of Arya Samiti held a press meet at its conference hall today to announce that a three-day quiz competition will be organized on the 29th, 30th of April, and 1st of May on the occasion of its 75th anniversary. Additionally, to commemorate the occasion, the Samiti will be organizing various programs throughout the year.
During the briefing, the Samiti members disclosed that the quiz competition, in association with the Siliguri Quiz Club, will be held at the Arya Samiti hall for students from different schools in North and South Bengal. The organization’s head and SMC Mayor Goutam Deb, Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, Borough No. 4 Committee Chairman Jayanta Saha, Ward No. 27 Councilor Prashant Chakraborty, Arya Samiti Secretary Rana Dey Sarkar, and others were present at the press conference.
