Siliguri, 30th July: In a major breakthrough, the Siliguri police have successfully arrested three individuals before they could execute a criminal act. The arrested suspects have been identified as Mangal Ghosh, Begen Tamang, and Sukumar Das, residents of Siliguri and Kalimpong.
According to reports, a gang of 5-6 miscreants had gathered in front of a railway quarter in the Tikiapara area on Monday night. Acting on a tip-off, the Siliguri police conducted a raid and apprehended the three individuals.
On Tuesday, the suspects have been presented before the Siliguri court while the police are engaged in further investigation of the entire incident.
