Siliguri, 07th March: In a significant breakthrough, the New Jalpaiguri (NJP) police apprehended three accused miscreants in connection to a recent theft case and recovered the stolen items. The accused have been identified as Roni Majumdar, Ankur Das, and Nikhil Saha, all residents of Matigara.
According to reports, the theft occurred at a residence in the Porajhar area of Fulbari Anchal No.1 on Wednesday. The miscreants allegedly made off with an iron grill and several other iron materials. Following the filing of a formal complaint at the NJP police station, an investigation was launched prompting the arrest of the three miscreants from the Kawakhali area. Subsequently, the case was forwarded to the Jalpaiguri Court.
