Siliguri, 20th September: The Siliguri police thwarted another robbery attempted and arrested three miscreants in connection to the case. The accused individuals have been identified as Nikki Das, Pawan Kumar Singh, and Ajay Barman.
Police sources revealed that a gang of 10-12 miscreants had gathered in the Tikiapara area on Thursday night to execute a robbery in the Babupara area. Acting on a tip-off, the police officers launched an operation and managed to apprehend three while the others fled from the spot upon being alerted of police presence.
The accused trio were produced before the Siliguri Court while the police are on a hunt for the other members of the robbery gang.
