Three arrested for theft at Dairy Farm in Matigara, presented in court

Siliguri 21st March: The cops of Matigara police station have arrested three individuals on charges of theft at a dairy farm.


According to the information received, copper pipes, milk cans, wires, and other items were stolen from a dairy farm in Matigara. The market value of the stolen items is estimated to be in lakhs of rupees. A complaint was lodged in this case at Matigara police station.

Following the complaint, on March 19, the police of Matigara police station apprehended Satyam Roy. During interrogation, the accused confessed to having two accomplices Ranjay Roy and Jyotish Roy.


After rigorous interrogation of the three accused, the police recovered 15 milk cans. However, the rest of the stolen items could not be recovered.

On Friday, the accused have been produced in Siliguri court. Currently, the police are further investigating the entire case.
