Siliguri, 24th February: After arriving at the Bagdogra Airport today, Governor Jagdeep Dhankar stated that the entire country, including the people of West Bengal, want peaceful elections. He is hopeful that this year’s assembly polls will be fair and peaceful. The common people must take all necessary steps to hold the elections peacefully.
The Governor, with his wife, reached Bagdogra Airport and then left for Darjeeling by road to attend the Rashtriya Sanskriti Mahotsav. He will return to Kolkata tomorrow.
