Phansidewa, 12th August: The Phansidewa market is currently a hotspot of attention due to the shocking theft in two successive stores in the area.
The incident came to the fore when the shop owners arrived at the scene on Saturday morning and found the padlocks of the shops smashed and several items and cash reportedly stolen. Following this, the Phansidewa police station was alerted and the police promptly arrived and investigated the CCTV footage from numerous stores.
The incident has raised security concerns among shopkeepers. There’s a sense of fear and concern among people since the Phansidewa police station is close by, and civic volunteers were on duty in the market the night before. At present, the incident is under police investigation.
