Naxalbari, 03rd July: In a brazen robbery attempt, a group of thieves targeted an iron grill factory located in the Uttar Rathkhola area of Naxalbari and fled with iron goods and cutting machines worth lakhs of rupees.
According to reports, the theft occurred at the factory owned by an individual identified as Tapan Sheel. The thieves took advantage of the rain and loaded the stolen items into a pickup van before absconding from the scene in the early hours of Wednesday.
Upon receiving the news, officials from the Naxalbari police station promptly arrived at the scene and initiated an investigation into the entire incident. Meanwhile, the factory owner Tapan Sheel claimed that the theft could be executed due to the lack of police patrolling in the area. He further expressed concern regarding the other businessmen in the area.
