Alipurduar, 11th March: A teenager was found hanging from a noose in the Hamiltonganj area of Kalchini block, on Thursday. The name of the deceased is Jishu Mandal (17).
It has been learned that on Thursday evening, a family member found Jishu hanging from a noose in his house. After the incident, he was taken to North Latabari Rural Hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Upon receiving the news, the Kalchini police station reached the spot, recovered the body, and sent it for autopsy on Friday. The police are investigating the whole incident.
