Malda, 25th February: The residents of English Bazar and guardians of the students staged a protest by gheraoing the teachers of Kulipara Hindi Primary School on Tuesday afternoon.
It was reported that there are a total of 6 teachers for more than a hundred students in the said school. The locals alleged the school teachers of not conducting their work properly and accused them of coming late to work.
The matter has been reported to the education department. The officials assured that proper investigation will be conducted and necessary steps will be taken soon.
