Siliguri, 26th January: Tapan Bhattacharya Smriti Samity celebrated the 74th Republic Day through social works. Under the aegis of Tapan Bhattacharya Smriti Raksha Samity, fruits were distributed among 100 patients in Siliguri District Hospital.
It is to be noted that, Tapan Dutta was a social worker and various social service programs are organized every year in his memory. This year also social functions have been organized.
During this, Alok Chakraborty of Darjeeling District Trinamool Congress, Councilor Rambhajan Mahato, Deepak Sheel, and others were present.
