Jalpaiguri, 15th February: To combat various viral disease outbreak, the Jalpaiguri Municipality launch a swine hunt campaign in the district. The Municipality workers conducted the campaign in various areas under the Ward No. 8 of the Jalpaiguri Municipality.
Chairman-In-Council Jalpaiguri Municipality, Saket Chatterjee stated that the campaign was abruptly launched today. Chatterjee added that the world is currently under the fear of Coronavirus. He said that the campaign was launched as some viruses can be directly transmitted from swine to people.
