Jalpaiguri, 12th January: The birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda was observed at Ramakrishna Mission Ashram in Jalpaiguri, on Wednesday.
A wreath was laid at the portrait of Swami Vivekananda, following which, the ashram flag was hoisted. Swami Jitamahananda, Dr. Sameer Kumar Dasgupta, and Ram Krishna Mission Ashram member Devkumar Ghosh discussed Vedic Mantra recitation, Vivekananda Pranam, Vivek Geeti, and the biography of Swami Vivekananda.
In-charge of the ashram Maharaj Swami Jitamahananda said that the day was observed in accordance with the Covid safety measures and maintaining social distance.
