Siliguri, 12th January: On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s 163rd birth anniversary, the Swami Vivekananda Sangha organized a blood donation camp and cultural program at the Samar Nagar DJ More area. The event successfully collected 50 units of blood.
In addition to the blood donation drive, an art competition for children was held, along with various cultural performances.
Speaking on the occasion, Deepak Karmakar, a member of the Swami Vivekananda Sangha, mentioned that the blood donation camp and cultural events were organized to commemorate Swami Vivekananda’s legacy.
