Siliguri, 08th August: Suryanagar Sporting Club will host the first ‘Run for Life’ Marathon 2023 on August 15, 2023, as stated by the members of the organization at a press conference convened on Tuesday at the Siliguri Journalists Club.
The marathon is anticipated to commence in front of the statue of Khudiram Bose in Mallaguri and conclude at Dabgram. As per informed, the 7-kilometer marathon is open to both men and women of all ages. The registration fee to participate in the marathon is Rs. 50. Winners will be awarded with trophies and cash prizes of Rs 5,000 preserved up to the eighth place.
Apart from honouring notable athletes of the city, various cultural programs and sit-and-draw competitions have been organized throughout the day of the event.
