The Supreme Court has issued a notification about the West Bengal crackers. An urgent hearing in this regard is scheduled today at 3 pm. The West Bengal Pollution Control Board has also been sent with a notice.
It is to be noted that the Calcutta High Court ordered a complete ban on the usage and sale of all kinds of firecrackers including green crackers throughout the state during the upcoming Diwali, Kali Puja, Chatth Puja, Christmas, and New Year celebrations.
