Siliguri, 21st December: Sukanta Sporting Club of Sukanta Nagar, Siliguri, has organized its annual under-12 T20 cricket tournament, continuing the tradition of previous years.
Clubs from almost every district of North Bengal are participating in the ten-day-long event.
This year, the tournament has been held in memory of Late Arun Majumdar, with Late Jhurna Mukherjee as the runner-up and the Late Gajendranath Saha Fair Play Trophy included in the T20 knockout cricket event 2025. The matches are being played at the Kundu Pukur ground in front of Sukanta Nagar Sporting Club, Siliguri.
The tournament was inaugurated on Sunday, with Deputy Mayor Ranjan Sarkar, Councillor Dulal Dutta, and other dignitaries in attendance.
