Siliguri, 24th July: After failing to clear the Higher Secondary examinations, the students of Siliguri Ramkrishna Saradamani Vidyapeeth staged a road blockade in front of the school today.
Around 14 students blocked the road for a long time. Later, they were asked to visit the council. They raised questions on the selection procedure and asked on what basis were the marks allotted as no examinations were conducted due to the pandemic.
On the other hand, the Panitanki outpost police reached the spot after receiving the news of the incident. Later, the students lifted the blockade with the assurance of the school teacher.
