Students forced to eat midday meals on the field in Rajganj school

Rajganj, 25th November: The students of Sarkar Para Primary School in Rajganj block are being forced to eat their midday meals on the field due to the lack of a proper dining hall.

The school, located in the Ambari-Belakoba area of Shikarpur Gram Panchayat, has approximately 139 students. However, the absence of a dining shed has compelled students to consume their meals outdoors.

In this regard, a teacher from the school expressed concerns about the situation, stating that the lack of a dining hall and the school’s open boundary, pose several challenges for the students. During cold and rainy weather, the students face significant discomfort. Additionally, the open ground attracts animals like cows, goats, and birds.

The teacher further added that despite repeated appeals to the authorities, no action has been taken to address these issues. The school urgently needs a dining shed and a boundary wall to ensure a hygienic and safe environment for the students.
