Siliguri, 25th June: State politics is in full swing as soon as the demand for a separate state for North Bengal arises.
The Student Society of Siliguri staged a silent protest today with placards. Besides, they tied rakhis to the common people and urged all to stay united.
Vivek Jha, a member of the Student Society of Siliguri, said, “In the pandemic situation when many people are dying and getting infected every day, some people are plotting to divide Bengal. Bengal cannot be allowed to be divided in any way. Hence, we took to the streets today.”
